Pandemin \u00e4r inne i en ny fas, konstaterade Folkh\u00e4lsomyndighetens avdelningschef Britta Bj\u00f6rkholm p\u00e5 myndighetens presstr\u00e4ff f\u00f6rra veckan.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Vi har en h\u00f6g immunitet i befolkningen, b\u00e5de genom att m\u00e5nga \u00e4r vaccinerade och att m\u00e5nga genomg\u00e5tt infektioner med covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smittspridningen \u00e4r fortsatt<\/strong> kvar p\u00e5 h\u00f6ga niv\u00e5er, men mycket tyder p\u00e5 att Sverige har passerat toppen f\u00f6r den fj\u00e4rde v\u00e5gen, \u00e4ven om statistiken \u00e4r mer sv\u00e5r-avl\u00e4st sedan rekommendationer f\u00f6r testning har \u00e4ndrats. Det finns dock undantag fr\u00e5n den positiva rapporteringen; smittan \u00f6kar fortfarande p\u00e5 s\u00e4rskilda boenden och hos personer med hemtj\u00e4nst.<\/p>\n<p>I stort sett alla nya fall orsakas av den mildare varianten omikron. Det har, i kombination med \u00f6kande immunitet i befolkningen, f\u00e5tt FHM att vilja t\u00e4nka om kring synen p\u00e5 viruset. Myndigheten har skickat en hemst\u00e4llan till regeringen om att covid-19 inte l\u00e4ngre b\u00f6r klassas som en samh\u00e4lls- eller allm\u00e4nfarlig sjukdom. Regeringens ambition \u00e4r att ta bort klassningen i m\u00e5nadsskiftet april-mars.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>84 procent av befolkningen<\/strong> \u00f6ver 12 \u00e5r har vaccinerats med tv\u00e5 doser. N\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller tredje dosen \u00e4r andelen 57 procent av den vuxna befolkningen, eller drygt 4,7 miljoner svenskar. Men nu rapporterar regionerna att intresset f\u00f6r vaccin avtar.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Efter att man tog bort restriktionerna f\u00f6rsvann i princip bokningarna, sade Annika Tigerhielm som \u00e4r vaccinsamordnare i region Kronoberg, till Sveriges Radio Ekot.<\/p>\n<p>Tv\u00e5 tredjedelar av regionerna som Ekot talat med rapporterar om minskat vaccinintresse, samtidigt som avbokningarna \u00f6kar. Enligt Britta Bj\u00f6rkholm p\u00e5 FHM \u00e4r det inte fastst\u00e4llt vad det beror p\u00e5, men hon tror att det kan vara en kombination av minskad motivation och det faktum att m\u00e5nga nyligen haft en infektion i kroppen. Men samtidigt varnar man f\u00f6r att en hypotetisk ny virusvariant kan f\u00f6r\u00e4ndra spelplanen under v\u00e5ren. Det nya scenariot bed\u00f6ms inte som troligt, men g\u00e5r enligt myndigheten inte att utesluta.
