(Foto: <a href=\"https:\/\/is.gd\/EHQs2t\">Holger.Ellgaard<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/is.gd\/KO4vwc\">CC BY-SA<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I snitt kastade en svensk 133 kilo matavfall \u00e5r 2018, totalt 1,3 miljoner ton, enligt rapporten Matavfall i Sverige 2018, framtagen av IVL Svenska Milj\u00f6institutet p\u00e5 uppdrag av Naturv\u00e5rdsverket. Det mesta av det, 70 procent, kommer fr\u00e5n hush\u00e5llen. P\u00e5 en avl\u00e4gsen andraplats kommer matbutiker (\u00e5tta procent) f\u00f6ljt av jordbruket (sju procent). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 En del matavfall g\u00e5r inte att undvika, som skal, kaffesump och ben fr\u00e5n k\u00f6tt eller fisk. Men n\u00e4stan h\u00e4lften av det som hush\u00e5llen kastar \u00e4r matsvinn, exempelvis rester som skrumpen frukt och m\u00f6gligt br\u00f6d. Det \u00e4r mat som hade kunnat \u00e4tas om den hade hanterats r\u00e4tt, s\u00e4ger Tova Andersson, projektledare p\u00e5 IVL Svenska Milj\u00f6institutet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 En tredjedel av v\u00e4rldens mat sl\u00e4ngs och som rapporten visar har vi stora m\u00e4ngder matavfall \u00e4ven i Sverige. F\u00f6r att komma tillr\u00e4tta med problemet m\u00e5ste vi veta vad vi sl\u00e4nger och varf\u00f6r. Samarbete l\u00e4ngs hela livsmedelskedjan beh\u00f6vs f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 till en positiv f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Livmedselsproduktionen och -konsumtionen inneb\u00e4r en stor milj\u00f6p\u00e5verkan och 20 till 25 procent av Sveriges totala klimatp\u00e5verkan kommer fr\u00e5n livsmedelshanteringen. Det g\u00e5r ocks\u00e5 \u00e5t mycket vatten i livsmedelsn\u00e4ringen, som \u00e4ven st\u00e5r bakom runt h\u00e4lften av \u00f6verg\u00f6dningen, skriver IVL. Men olika livsmedel har olika stor klimatp\u00e5verkan, och k\u00f6tt och mejeriprodukter har st\u00f6rre klimatavtryck \u00e4n frukt och gr\u00f6nt. Och varor som importeras st\u00e5r ocks\u00e5 ofta f\u00f6r st\u00f6rre utsl\u00e4pp \u00e4n de som produceras lokalt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Under ett \u00e5r kastar
